I found your entry under “Social Frustration” when I was searching for some Psychological Measurement Tests for the 110,000 or so citizens of the south of Spain who are being similarly fooled and deferauded by lawyers, Town Halls, and parliamentary representatives in Juntas (automonous smaller regional parliaments) in Spain.

Like yourselves, many of these people cannot get normal justice or satisfaction as the combination of corruption and
incompetence is endemic in certain Spanish authorities.

This is not new, but it it never acceptable. At personal level the costs in terms to money, time -wasting, energy- wasting
and the fundamental and the stress of facing constant lies and deception leads many into a lowered state of health. This concerns me. It is the greatest injustice of all.

Betrayal of social justice and order carries a high price at personal and social level. At a spiritual level, if you believe in such a level, the price is even higher. Ignorance and deception, say all the enlightened ones, is where society founders…..

For all of this one ought to be compensated. Matters have to be put right or you will never feel complete again as individuals, family or community.

I advocate that people must continue to struggle at personal level but the art is in consesus and there are many weak , uncaring and not-too-intelligent people out there. Thus you must collect intelligent, tuthworthy friends at higher levels and seek as much media and TV coverage as you can. At some point – often unexpectedly – the critical point is reached and suddenly you are ‘over the top’ and solutions are found. Is your regional legal system as useless and inept as in Spain? Good enough laws but a useless execution of these?

My contribution was to set up ‘Citizen Advocacy’ , a platform and a vehicle for individuals who are first faced with a frustrating and time-consuming situation like yours to educate themselves and take appropriate action. It is tough to stand against a liar and deceiver, but you must go beyond them.

Self education, group education, investigation into legal pathways and use of the media is your way forward. Meeting honest, balanced people is the other. They will reinforce you.
Your written and visual entry shows me you have many tools at your disposal but they need to be honed and focused.

From Spain, and 110,000 cheated and exploited people who are now constructing a National Federation against Urbanistic Legal Abuses and who have won recogition from the European Parliament I send you warmest wishes for your success. I would remind you that you are ‘not alone’ and your case has now been seen by thousands.
(An encouraging note is that the Eurpean Union is now considering withholding subsidies of 35 billion euros which were to be allocated to Spain as they see the games going on..these are games at kindergarten level and the EU now insists they become mature enough the handle their infractions of the law and restore justice to the disenfranchised thousands of illegally-licenced people before being handed European money again.

May I suggest you launch your pages again under differing titles Such as Injustice in…..Cambodia or Fraud in Cambodia … or New Cambodian Association to combat Legal Cheats….
with really relevant photos and documentation showing signatures of the people perpetrating the infractions against you. (Even thumb prints!) People get nervous when they have committed crimes and see the evidence in print…..This is your strength.

When you refer to ‘the bigger picture’ (National, International) and attach an appropriate legal language you will be noticed at much higher levels.

(I saw you all in nice social settings but no pictures of the house you were complaining about!) For this type of case and video presentation, the social aspect was not relevant.
Now if you could make a clear You-tube presentation showing the state of the house and the problems even your local authority might feel shamed and try to help, on condition that in exchange you cancelled your You-tube presentation! Make a deal with them and the perpetrator Ask for a compensation sum which is reasonable and publish it!

May I wish you great good luck and hope to hear good news from you one day. Perhaps you should consider joining Citizen Advocacy at International Level! Your e-mail skills suggest you could train others to state their case most forcefully! One hundred and ten thousand people in Spain will now get to know you through my contact with their associations (in October 2009). Is that not fascinating?

In Solidarity

I did vote. Guess, you did too.

A few friends of mind didn’t vote. First, I thought this as very frustrating because they could have utilized their own ballots. The only reason that they gave me was that either of them (leaders) were the same. I’m sure it’s going to take me years to understand them.

One thing about cultural pressure is that a lot of Cambodians start to repress. Sadly, silence has a negative effect on themselves. Because the more they repress, the more they are oppressed.
